Get involved

Action Teams.

Most of our chapter's work gets done in small teams. Find one that matches how you want to help — and bring your skills, your time, or just your hands.

How we organize

What's an Action Team?

An Action Team is a small group of members who organize around a specific initiative — voting, communications, postcards, fundraising — or fill a key internal role for the chapter. Teams have:

  • A simple mission statement and goals for the year.
  • Two facilitators who rotate periodically.
  • Regular meetings (frequency up to the team).
  • A budget, once they're ready to ask for one.

Don't see a team that fits you? You can propose a new one. Two facilitators, one other member, a charter, and the steering committee says go.
